Division 4 did some learning about biomes. We celebrated their learning with inviting classes in to see their dioramas. @abbotsfordsd34

We had the opportunity to honour a brave student for showing leadership and passion for National Indigenous People’s’ Day. Ross elementary student and her family were in attendance. The family shared the women and men’s warrior song and was blanketed. ⁦⁦@AbbotsfordSD34⁩

We had a brave grade 4 student take the initiative to lead a Pow Wow dance to commemorate the lives lost in residential schools and to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples’ Day. ⁦@AbbotsfordSD⁩ #empoweringyouthvoice

“Bring your wheels to school day” was so much fun. Thanks to the community for bringing extra scooters and bikes. Kids learned about hand signals and ABC’s of biking. They also learned to overcome fears with support from staff and parent volunteers. ⁦⁦@AbbotsfordSD34⁩

Parent Appreciation today at Ross Elementary. The students and staff really value our parent community so showed our appreciation with coffee and timbits as they dropped their kids off at school this morning. ⁦@AbbotsfordSD⁩ #gratefulforparents
