@TedHope Alar Kivilo has swung from the broad comedy of Harold Ramis to the moody atmosphere of A Simple Plan. Tho the budget couldn’t afford him , he brought so much energy and beauty to Kyra Sedgewick’s STORY of A GIRL. Also, he is so kind and creatively generous.

@MutinyCo @TedHope It’s true. know how I got that job? I sent a fax (yes I’m old) to every film in pre production. I was hired as a “grip intern.” #Quentintarantino was so kind and generous with me. Later in life , when he saw a movie I made, he could not have been more kind and supportive.

@TedHope I like to sit down early with each department - especially the ones you wouldn’t normally consider for notes, like accounting. I tell them the room is a safe forum and I want to hear as a moviegoer what they think of the whole shebang. Then I do same w Dept hds re dailies
