Companies must know this but still sell them as profits come before people.

I’m genuinely baffled by the ‘Rory choked badly’ narrative that’s swimming around in the wake of Sunday’s epic victory.
Many of those same people also focus on the fact that he broke down and wept when the winning putt went in or how much it all clearly meant to him.
I get that he hit some shockingly bad shots (chip on 13, approach to 18 in regulation, par putt on the same hole) BUT… surely, his reaction to winning shows just how much it all meant to him and gives an insight into the suffocating pressure under which he was playing?
Some of that pressure came from the fans, the media and the patrons - as well as all those around he world willing him to win - but most of it came from within as he battled to achieve his lifelong dream, cement his place in golfing - no, sporting immortality, win the tournament that EVERY golfer most wants to win because of all the benefits that come with it, prove the naysayers wrong, bounce back from so many disappointments, prove he could win a major - any major - again after so many near misses and on and on and on.
Choke? The fact that he could take the club face away from the ball at all is astonishing. The fact that he could battle back from each one of those ‘chokes’ and finally get over the line - no matter HOW he did it - is truly, truly staggering to me.
I felt the pressure on my couch (as we all did) but I didn’t have to perform in the cauldron of all that. I just had to watch, between my fingers, as he battled his demons, history, Rosie, Bryson, his nerves and that fiendish golf course.
Choke? You have GOT to be kidding me.
That was the greatest day of golf and the most extraordinary willingness to go back to the well again and again and again in the heat of battle that I’ve ever seen.
He didn’t choke, he refused to lose.
Congratulations @McIlroyRory you conquered so much more than Augusta National this week.
Oh, and @JustinRose99 what a class act you are.
You and Kate showed what grace and character are all about yesterday in the face of overwhelming disappointment on a day when the golf you played deserved victory.
Sport is, as @gilesmorgan71 so beautifully put it “the thing that matters the most that doesn’t matter at all”.
He’s right…but yesterday, it mattered.
It mattered a great deal - to so many people, none of whom will ever forget what they witnessed.

This perfectly encapsulates the incredible longevity of Andy Murray’s career. Especially in such a physically intense sport amid injury hardship.
For two decades, Scotland’s had an elite athlete battling against Tennis’ greatest ever.

The moment USA women’s 7s team found out they were getting $4 Million donation from Michele Kang 👏🏼
It’s understood Kang wants to see the squad take home gold at the 2028 LA Olympics 🥇
Investment into women’s rugby - we love to see it 🤝🏽

The Post Office's compensation scheme is designed to minimise payouts. One postmaster received £15.75.
That isn't a typo.
I count nine ways the Post Office's HSS compensation scheme is rigged:
