@draklarvampar@Omamba256@lippyent You are confusing concepts. You can be against property tax but still be in favor of progressive (not flat) income taxes
@popsbabyiv@42ERMorningstar@rcondiscord@ayeejuju You keep saying “in the moment” as if it means something. In the moment, a dice has a 1 in 6 chance of landing on a 3. Not a 1 in 2, not even “in the moment”
@clairevo I worry that building the skills/knowledge alone won’t be enough. I frankly prefer this version of things but am still trying to wrap my head around what the playing field looks like.
My entire job is now codex and managing codex threads, I’m genuinely curious what the software engineering job even is anymore. The value of my understanding of any system goes down every single day. Very weird times
@onthespectacle@IRHologram@WallStreetApes Now you are changing to quality of life, which is fine, but there is a reason that I have repeatedly said financial outcomes. You kept talking about costs without considering the wages. Quality of life overall is a more complex equation and i wouldn’t argue for average American
@onthespectacle@IRHologram@WallStreetApes You are simply too focused on cost and ignoring the other half of the equation. Americans are richer overall. The costs only matter if they outstrip wages and worth
So many leaders are asking me if they should be super secret with their AI goals and plans. Will it stress everyone out? Should we have a private dashboard? Can I pretend that it’s all sunshine and daisies and Claude code?
My reply: sunlight is the best disinfectant. Tell the truth, trust your people, say the thing.
Let your team rise to the occasion; they’re not children!
