@Turbinetraveler I’d imagine that they have safeguards in their flight operations department to avoid situations like this, but it obviously somehow didn’t work on this occasion. Lessons to be learnt, no doubt. That said, ATC and both crews did a great job resolving the ambiguity! Well done 🙌

@gwj79 @SkyBet Ditto. Had exactly the same issue. 14 match accumulator £7 at 1567.38/1. Ultimately 13 out of 14 results came in, with one drawn. Repeatedly attempted to log in to claim a cash out, with no joy. @SkyBet

@BartshMatthew @HealthVirgin @crazyclipsonly Being drunk is illegal on an airplane. It's absolutely within the right of the crew to make that determination. Aside from that, if the crew don't feel that you will comply with a reasonable instruction when asked, you're a safety risk in the event of an emergency.

Ideally they'll get anyone with very tight connections towards the front of the aircraft, although if 80%+ of the folk onboard have a connection (often the case on certain routes) everyone's in the same boat!

@Believer218 @NoContextHumans The oxygen masks are solely for use in a decompression, allowing you to breathe until the plane is at a lower, breathable altitude. They provide no benefit with smoke or vapour.
