This statement by Mr. Swalwell is completely meaningless. What does he propose to do differently since a number of laws were already violated in this episode? Revamping of the Supreme Court should be undertaken. I don’t believe that that means changing the number of justices but certainly age limits should exist. I suggest a bracket. No younger than 55 with at least some basic judicial service say 20 years and no older than 75.

The question is not so much the makeup of the court but the purpose of the court. If all you want is another legislative body then do away with it completely. The real purpose of the court is to adhere to some common framework, the constitution, in order to keep balance in our legislative system. It acts as a moderator and swings slowly somewhat counter to the elected bodies.

1) we lost 20 million jobs and have regained 13 million.
2) no new jobs have been created by the government.
3) we have the highest rate of inflation in 40 years.
4) Joe wants to continue a spending spree that is unprecedented and economic disaster.
5) our military is demoralized and under equipped to face China.

@hodgetwins The Blond is the aggressor. It is not a matter of pure physical contact but the perception of immanent harm. In this case the blond was advancing and the person being interviewed was cut off by others. It was clear provocation and aggression.

@PseudoBeeks @RBReich You are charged and you go to court to determine if you have broken the law. There is a small thing called presumption of innocence. Being charged does not mean you have broken the law.

@RBReich The more private wealth is destroyed the more people will invest in government bonds. This drives down the interest rate on the bonds and makes it easier for the government to borrow. It moves the money from equity to public debt. Public debt is non productive.

@RBReich It is called a government economy. Only where the government assumes all ownership of resources and the labor or its citizens can oligarchs be created. The best example is Russia where vast resources were simply given to individuals by the government.
