@iealondon @emmamrevell Some self-employed work via their own companies and take dividends as part of their remuneration. Labour manifesto states dividends will increase to current rates applied to salaries. That's an increase from 7.5%/32.5%/38.1% to 20%/40%/45% across the tax bands.
