@PopovaProf Yet I'm sure that pompous cockwomble of a producer of hers is gonna just disregard this with some snide remark. At this point it has to be more than incompetence. It has to be malice seeing how this is pure and simple a whitewashing campaign, proven over and over.

@pravdoliub_i @AnteGotovina666 Аз и на български ги бъркам :) Но на украински има и вишня и черешня като думи.

@PenultimosDias @N_P_T__ @klub67709 @yarotrof I’m an outsider too. I consider people who don’t have a generational wealth of shared mental modes and experiences “outsiders” to a different extent. You’re an outsider to many cultural spaces. Being an outsider is not a problem. The arrogance and paternalism is.

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@PenultimosDias @N_P_T__ @klub67709 @yarotrof It is unbelievable to see time and time again a complete outsider teach Ukrainians in a paternalistic way how they should perceive something that is a lived experience for them. But what takes the cake is a list including Prilepin and “moral reserve” side by side. Bravo!

A thread about Western Orientalism towards Eastern Europe 🧶

Centering of Western points of view and othering attitudes towards the East (Orientalism) have for a long time been commonplace in Western social and political thinking. (1/22)

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@yoshuawuyts @tobbblescodes Ooh interesting! Do you happen to have a link to the video at arms length :)

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@yoshuawuyts @tobbblescodes Ubiquiti are doing IoT stuff?

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@yoshuawuyts Looks neat. Do you have any issues with the cats being interested in the cables?

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@yoshuawuyts @Citymapper I can recommend https://t.co/yjoRFqRCKQ In Sweden at least, it’s quite accurate with precipitation notifications, telling me roughly when it’s gonna start raining at my location, with what intensity and for how long. It uses subscriptions but quite cheap for a year.

@marcan42 I've seen 33TBW on a 512Gb Mac Mini in only 3 weeks use and by far the biggest offender was bird, which for some reason kept writing like crazy even though Documents & Desktop sync was not on. Gonna keep an eye on how this develops.

The local (Turkish) supermarket carries wafers of the Bulgarian Боровец brand. The label on the shelf says Topolley, though.

You see what happened? The Cyrillic wordmark was read as Latin (Б → T, в → ll, ц → y), helped by the brushy script letter style.

@caseyliss @stroughtonsmith I can highly recommend using tokei instead of cloc https://t.co/fYHiQF9DFV

🆕 Today, we are exposing 6 years of "Secondary Infektion" activity, a persistent Russian information operation network which we've been investigating for months.

It lives here, in 150 pages of details, with its database and carousel of forgeries (!):

@lucky_alvy Great app that fills the void left by Dark Sky and with more supported countries actually. The watch complication seem to not always show the current info but I know that’s a common pain with watch complications.

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@nikolayvanchev Да. Пиши ми.

[Rostislav @rostislav]

@nikolayvanchev Доизкусуряваме си процеса по наемане в момента и пишем още обяви. По-нататък ще ги пусна и тях.
