In a HEATED end of class debate, many of my program students asked if I owned a Metallica t-shirt...do I give off that vibe? Class divided...guess it’s probably the tattoos.
Then I dropped the bomb that I have a T-Pain shirt and we logged off. 😏
Braeden is a member of the Class of 2021 at @DM_North. He spent most of today across the street from school, cheering and applauding each member of the #Classof2020 as they arrived for today's graduation. The world needs more Braedens.
We originally thought 17 days would be all that we would be apart. That’s tomorrow. Now that’s it’s longer, here’s a piece of our heart! Shout out to Willard...we had to show our kids we missed them too! @DM_North, @DMschools https://t.co/6oWjdun94x
Don’t ask school leaders and teachers if they are happy to “have time off”. No, we are not happy and our hearts ache for our students. We want to be at school. We want to see our kids. We want to meet their needs. We want our normal back. #COVIDー19#PrincipalLife#BetterTogether
Asked my leadership kids on St. Patty’s day to share what they were lucky to have. (We’ve been working on gratitude & reflection). 💚💕Here’s what they all came up with: @LoriBonnstetter!
Breakfast of champions, in jammies, building my school Weebly...finally! I now have the time to conquer some professional planning goals. #springbreak2020#quarantine#socialdistancing
A poignant poster spotted this morning at North High. A week ago it reflected the school’s inclusive culture. Today it seems like a plea by the building for students and teachers to return.
