🤬Russia launched another massive combined attack on Ukraine overnight July 6, firing 68 missiles and 351 drones in a strike focused mainly on Kyiv.

Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down or suppressed 363 aerial targets, including 37 missiles and 326 drones. The attack included ballistic missiles, Kh-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and Shahed-type attack drones.

Despite Ukraine’s defense efforts, Russian missiles and drones hit dozens of locations. Kyiv and its suburbs suffered destruction. In Vyshneve, in the Bucha district, authorities warned of the danger of repeated detonations and cordoned off the area. Emergency crews continue to work at the sites of impact.

Rail traffic has been rerouted in some areas for safety reasons. Bus service has been organized between Boyarka and Kyiv.

The human cost is rising. In Kyiv, nine people were killed and 43 injured, including two children. In the Kyiv region, 15 people were injured, 11 of them hospitalized. Among the wounded is a 9-month-old girl.

It is another Russian war crime against civilians, cities, homes, railways and critical infrastructure. Ukraine needs stronger air defence now to protect lives.

Of course, President Trump and I discussed the current situation on the frontline as well as our diplomatic efforts. There is a real prospect to put an end to this war, and America’s resolve is decisive. We have agreed to continue these discussions during the NATO Summit in Ankara.

100,000 costumes. 3 million items of clothing. Gone.

Last night, Russia struck the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio in Kyiv — one of Ukraine's oldest film studios. A fire broke out. The costume workshop was hit directly. Ukraine's largest and oldest costume collection was destroyed.

These were not props. They were irreplaceable historical artefacts — clothing spanning centuries of Ukrainian history, culture, and identity. They cannot be restored. They cannot be reprinted. They are gone.

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetyana Berezhna:

"Russia continues to deliberately attack not only civilian infrastructure and peaceful people, but also cultural institutions that preserve Ukrainian identity, memory, and history. The destruction of cultural centres is an attempt to strike at the memory, history, and distinctiveness of the Ukrainian people."

The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra — burning.

This is the same night. This is the same war. This is the same Russia.

People in the West who speak of Russian high culture should understand what that culture does when it is given weapons and coordinates.

It burns the costumes of other people's history.
Ukraine has been standing between this and the rest of Europe for four years.

Look at what it is holding back.

Now, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians view it positively that our long-range drones paid a visit to the opening of your forum in St. Petersburg, covering a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. As you know very well, that distance is not the limit of our capabilities.
