@WalkerLV2000 @jase1129 I think his ceiling is definitely mid-top of the rotation starter. Heβs only been a PO for two years. At 20, does he still have room to increase velo? Iβd say yes. Eventually, he can start. If we βneedβ him now, the pen makes sense.
2. Can Riley find his power again?Β 3 wks ago, Riley was on a 1 HR/18 games streak. Then, against the Phillies, he hit 3 in 4 games. Since, he has hit 1 HR/19 games.Β Riley hasn't been awful this year, but his power numbers have been bad. Can he use this series to find power again?
The next 6 series will be a strong test for this Braves club.Β I believe the Braves are the best team in Baseball. letβs see if my claim holds true in the upcoming wks. If youβre a baseball fan like me, let's get some chatter going.Β Until next time, go #Braves.
The #AtlantaBraves have been dominant in June!Β Tonight, as we head to Philly, the #Braves are set to play six series in a row against high quality opponents who are playing great baseball right now. Here are three questions I have as we prepare for the Phillies (Thread 1 of 5)
3. Can we win series against good teams? A 13-3 June has been a great.Β Playing .800+ baseball for the next 6 series is probably unrealistic.Β However, the goal in the league is to win a series.Β Can the Braves continue to take at least 2 of 3 against near division leading teams?
@TJR_112@mlbbowman I love Austin Riley and think the Braves post season success depends on his contribution, but he has looked lost at the plate lately. So did Harris three weeks ago, and now look. Iβm not too worried about Riley, but would love to see him get going at the plate.
