@Lycorysia Go a step further where you apply this thought to living in your own apartment without leaving for anything but the most important/needed stuff, and this explains why many (most) youngins (me) are in the situation they are in
Natural progression with the way things have been
@69boxcutter There is nothing to catch up to in these horrid times, no amount of going up can solve what was done, and no amount of going down can be worse than the past
Give yourself time (unironically), and I believe this mid-30s thing oughta go, for obvious reasons
@carolinejamhour My experience ever since I joined, but I have learnt it is all subjective (hopefully)
Someone else reads something either of us have written and comes out with an epiphany (hopefully x2)
@pleadedguilt this might be your emotional mind speaking rather than analytical, but i understand what you mean
it is always good practice to take these thoughts further and further until you reach a conclusion (there is no true one anyways) that allows you to "live" in peace
@20kgcarbon Thoughts like these are genuine cognitohazards that shouldn't be shared in the sense that people who come to this conclusion can (most of the time) live with what this truly means
But if someone who was never going to think about this in the first place reads this, it's over
@justinskycak Amazing, one of those thoughts you'd wish you had first
A more accurate version would probably be "imagine a gym where you were locked to 135lb bench for a year before progressing on"
When they say "for whatever you see, a price was paid", it does not mean the bearer always paid the price
How this is not obvious/common sense, I do not know
@sundsais tweet speaks to me vehemently, but must we not be selfish regardless? not in a "i will make the best of this and prove them wrong!!" sort of way, but you know what i'm talking about instead
@Sarvasamhara most problems, sure, EVERY problem? really? don't get it twisted money is numero uno but every problem is stretching it i won't lie, but who can tell anyways
@TheRamenDon what birthday would you wish you could go back to, if given the opportunity? i have quite a ways to 32, and i am curious as to what you'd have to say
@mystery_halo always the latter, no matter what, but some people think both circumstances that you presented can be interchanged, so take that as you will
