@CFDevelop @david_whitney Well yea. Not all do it but it's pretty standard. Hosting and organizing a conference costs a boatload of money, they need to recoup the costs to be able to host more conferences. Of course speakers are free to share their content however they like but the recording isn't theirs

@CFDevelop @david_whitney Being able to speak to the PM for a specific product or service I'm using face to face is such a useful interaction that imo you can't replicate online. It's access you don't normally get. Also most conference talks do not end up on yt. Usually private to conference platform.
