Another milestone in the journey.
Bringing Religious Literacy to the Classroom: Global Competence for K–12 Social Studies is now moving into production with @RoutledgeEOE.
This book grew from a central question: How can educators help students understand religious traditions without reducing them to stereotypes or isolated facts?
My hope is that the book provides practical, inquiry-driven approaches that help students examine religion as internally diverse, changing over time, and deeply embedded in culture.
I am grateful to everyone who has encouraged this work and am excited to move one step closer to sharing it with educators. #religiousliteracy
Proud to share this fantastic book by Rhiannon Kim. Super-engaging, wonderfully inviting. She demystifies mindfulness practices, presents them with a social justice spirit, and offers us a variety of ways to support our wellbeing while transforming our classrooms and schools.
Thank you to @SonjaCherryPaul for her thoughtful praise for @RuizSealey’s new book Archaeology of Self: The Introspective Educator’s Guide to Racial Literacy.

BORING:
"Identify the author's purpose."
AWESOME:
Students became marketing consultants.
Their client was the author.
They had to determine whether the author was trying to:
• inform
• persuade
• entertain
Then they created an advertising campaign proving it.
Students need to grapple with content if they're going to learn it and retain that learning! Find out more in Dr. Nancy Sulla's book Building Executive Function: https://t.co/GvFDXWfJP1 @RoutledgeEOE
Executive function isn't something "extra" to teach; it happens in the way content is presented. Learn more in Dr. Nancy Sulla's book Building Executive Function: https://t.co/GvFDXWfJP1 @RoutledgeEOE

Great schools aren't built on avoiding hard conversations—they're built on having the right ones.
@Supt_Jones & I wrote Candid and Compassionate Feedback for school leaders who want to build trust & strengthen culture w/out sacrificing accountability.

Excited to share that I've signed with @RoutledgeEOE for my next book, Making Your Literacy Instruction Awesome (2028). This isn't about replacing curriculum. It's about making the lessons you're already teaching even more engaging, meaningful, and memorable.
