A huge milestone for Knaphill FC. ❤️🖤
Yesterday our newly formed Under 8 teams took to the pitch for their very first friendly, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our football club.
After weeks of planning and preparation, it was fantastic to see all the hard work come to life. Watching the players pull on the shirt and represent Knaphill for the first time is exactly what this new youth section is all about.
A huge thank you to Ben, Danny and Carl, pictured alongside Chris, who have been outstanding throughout the process. Their commitment, enthusiasm and hard work have helped turn an idea into reality, and we’re incredibly grateful to have them leading the way.
This is just the first step in building a thriving youth pathway at Knaphill FC, and we can’t wait to watch these young players develop, make friends and enjoy their football in the years ahead.
Here’s to the start of something special.

🖤 In Memory of Sean Carrigy 🖤
Everyone at Knaphill FC was saddened to learn of the passing of one of our Life Presidents, Sean Carrigy.
Sean dedicated many years of service to Knaphill Football Club and played an important role in the club’s history. As Senior Secretary during the 1990s, he helped guide the club through a challenging period and was instrumental in bringing together Knaphill FC and Heathlands FC, helping to secure the future of the club.
A familiar face to many around the club and within the local football community, Sean will be remembered not only for his contribution to Knaphill FC, but also for his warmth, sense of humour and ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He was someone who genuinely cared about people and was always willing to lend a hand where he could.
His contribution to Knaphill FC will not be forgotten, and he will always be remembered as an important part of our club’s history.
Everyone at Knaphill FC sends their sincere condolences to Sean’s family and friends at this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Sean.
🖤
A 7th place finish for our U18s in a season that hinted at even more.
An early setback with GK Harry’s shoulder injury and 5 pts lost to injury-time goals at home proved costly. Plenty of positives though, and a group that’s grown massively over the campaign 💪On to the next. 🔴
