The late Liam Crowe holding the medal he won when Rovers beat Shelbourne in the 1944 FAI Cup Final. Liam was one of the scorers in the 3-2 win, Bobby Rogers and an Eddie Gannon o.g. were the other Hoops scorers.
Jason Sherlock, whom many people associate with Dublin GAA, also played in the LOI with UCD and Shamrock Rovers. 'Jayo' played for the Hoops during the 1998/99 season making 31 appearances and scoring 8 goals.
Derek Tracey is presented with the Man of the Match award after Rovers beat Shelbourne 1-0 in the Leinster Senior Cup final in 1997. Tracey was the goalscorer.
