@Phantasmerie 99% of n64 games create lighting with a mix of special carved shadow topology and vertex colors
Only paint shadows if the light effects are entirely localized to a single tile (torch on the wall for an example)
@Jordificient@dailytobytrivia Maybe, but he did code Chapter 1 and Undertale, and those bad practices were carried over for some reason. Maybe for parity, idk.
@LaSeine115@DUSKdev Most VR developers are too risk-adverse to put resources into engineering 6dof, since most people can't even handle simple VR. Which is a shame, I love the 6dof on the blade and sorcery golem and the bonelab kart.
