Román siempre será mi ídolo. Pero hoy día el DT de Boca tiene que ser un líder que no sea amigo de dirigencia. A nosotros como hinchas nos tiene que demostrar que el DT impediría que la dirigencia arme los titulares o ponga jugadores en el 11, porque pasó con algunos últimos DTs. Quiero felicitar a @ABDELAESPRIELLA por su triunfo en la primera vuelta de las elecciones de Colombia, y a los colombianos por esta ejemplar jornada electoral.

Este resultado refleja el anhelo de libertad y progreso del pueblo colombiano, y una voluntad expresa de decirle basta al fracasado modelo socialista que tanto daño le ha hecho a nuestra región, y a Colombia en especial, en los últimos 4 años.

De repetirse este resultado en segunda vuelta, no tengo dudas que Colombia va a ingresar nuevamente al concierto de las Naciones Libres, y retomará un rumbo orientado a la defensa de la vida, la libertad y la propiedad.

The beauty of democracy was on full display as the people of Colombia exercised their power to chart their future, in their own hands, with their own voices.

As an observer, I’m truly humbled and filled with pride to have been invited and to have witnessed this historic election.

The strong partnership between the United States and Colombia remains vital, especially with the continued need for robust security cooperation in the face shared challenges.

Democracy won today, but the work isn’t done yet. There’s a runoff in three weeks, and, at the request of the CNE, I’ll be back to observe the final round.
