Did Prince William know this was a controversial topic that would rise a mediatic storm? Absolutely😏
Anyone with 2 brain cells in their head could see the clouds gathering as soon as the engagement was announced.
Did he fear or fret about the criticism, some, well warranted arguments; the rest just hateful abuse from his desperate enemies? Not one Bit😎
If Prince William was about PR, self imagine and self promotion, he would have toed the line with the Press, enjoy his popularity and avoid any controversy.
But that is not who he is🔥
His former private secretary already painted a portrait of the Man he mentored into adulthood:
"Prince William is very analytical. He asks all the questions and makes sure that he’s clear what you’re asking him to do. His sort of moral compass is set absolutely, rigidly due north. He has the clearest understanding of what is right and what is wrong; and he won’t waiver from it, even if it means he’s going to take a hit.”🔥

So if you can comprehend this passage, you will understand why Prince William never shies away from controversies.
Integrity is hard; It is so easy to compromise in todays world. But as John W. Gardner aptly said:
"Men of integrity, by their very existence, rekindle the belief that as a people, we can live above the level of moral squalor. We need that belief; a cynical community is a corrupt community."🔥
That is what Prince William brings to the plate amidst this divisive conflict supporting political interests: Humanity🔥
Wanting to see this conflict end soon because of the high human lives toll is the RIGHT way to think; How to get there may be up to debate but that is the Right thought process.
But it takes leaders with backbones and integrity of Moral character to stand by the right principles and face backlash head on, in order for what is Right for the community at large to happen.
And the world is lacking of these Kinds of Leaders right now☕️
