I essentially don't have free time until November. I was already going to attempt to finish a book draft in November. I have 3 different things I've committed to learning. But the idea of teaching myself the Hades art style has possessed me and won't let go.
Unforseen writing issue: no matter what project I work on right now, I have to make a cup seem really important. I am just one bitch. I only have so much to give to cups.
Starting to think I do not have a normal response to injuries because I'm here like "well this is kind of embarrassing, I should've walked this off by now" and everyone else I talk to goes "Jesus christ, you fell down the stairs?!"
Wait griping about synopsis length cancelled, what if you justified your selfish choices by claiming it was to stop the cycle of violence and in the process signed your own metaphorical death warrant?
Every time I do a submission I fall down a genre rabbit hole. Where's the line on supernatural vs fantasy? Why is YA a genre but adult an age range? What does this specific publisher consider the genre boundaries to be?
Sidenote, just passed 40K in ITK's current draft after being stuck for like a year because my friend's started reading ITD to their fiancรฉe and I got feedback (and rants) from them both, so there is my semi-annual reminder that creating in a void is counterproductive.
