@Philip_Goff Consciousness is so difficult to define that the question is nearly impossible. It could be, or we could be defining it wrong, or maybe our assumptions are entirely correct.

If you have a really big dream, especially as young as we are, everyone will either say you can’t or give you crazy side eye. It is not worth entertaining, do it anyway

@philosophy_life This is a really funny thought because humans are always trying to make things simple by putting everything in boxes. Life is very difficult, though, and we don’t usually understand it. I think that confusion is why we insist on making it complicated.
@wisdomXplorer Having a brain to think about, feel, and perceive the universe with, and the universe includes everything from my cats, dog, parents, and friends to stars, physics, Jupiter, and Andromeda.
@kelly_ques So far, No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai. It was a very complex book that I think serves as a great warning against people pleasing, to say the least.
