Was one of those games. Got my 1st tech down here over this play⬇️

After giving opposing coach a warning for arguing every call, ref decided to disrespect me and my team. I didn’t cuss. Didn’t make it personal. But he certainly did.

A college ref once told me that their group would actually talk about me and say if Strick gets after you, you probably did something wrong, because he doesn’t get on refs.

This ref is gonna find out soon enough who I am and who I know. Game isn’t about you…or the other team’s coaches or parents…you’re about to find out

Don’t say this often with how hard our teams play, but we got flat out-worked tonight🥴 Might be hardest playing team we’ve ever faced here😳

Maybe we were still mentally on 🏖️ for first 24 min when we trailed by 13, idk🤷🏼‍♂️ But it ended up 2 pts too much to overcome once we finally started playing our game. Lesson learned💯

As I put together highlights for our players, what stood out to me is how much they slapped hands…pointed to passers…picked each other up🤝

We preach it all the time, but after you’ve read “Good To Great”, you realize your culture is only good when you have the right people on the bus💯

How great their team chemistry is✅

Special group and it’s a GREAT compliment when other coaches see it too🙌
