As an above-knee amputee for 25 years, I can tell you:
The smart limb tech is already here.

I use the Intuy knee by @rebooconbionics - it's powered, adaptive, incredible.

But the real unsolved challenge?
Connecting bionics to biology.

The mechanical interface; socket fit, attachment, alignment - is still rooted in 19th-century tech. Even osseointegration carries serious risks and recovery time.

For every lab demo you see, there are 100+ amputees struggling just to get fitted by their local CPO.

The future looks amazing on video. But in the trenches, most of us just want to walk pain-free.

We don’t need headlines. We need fit, comfort, access, and follow-through.

I have a deep animosity toward the bad old days of IE website compatibility issues, so I've avoided Edge like the plague. However, discovering Edge's "App" feature today changes my entire workflow forever as I transition to digital nomadism—just wow!
