Rifles ready. Moving like a hunting party. Not criminals. A pack.
This is Morebeng, the attack of 13 August 2026. Four of them arrived in police uniforms and reflective jackets, faces covered, walking onto a White farmer’s land as if they already owned it.
They didn’t kick the door in. They waited. They tied up a worker. Then they took the owner and spent hours teaching him what happens when you are White and still hold something they want.
Pick. Sjambok. Side cutters on his fingers until the pain forced the safe open.
They left with five rifles, a pistol, ammunition, cash, phones, and his bakkie. Our guns. In their hands. For the next farm. The next White family. The next set of fingers.
This is how they come for us now. Not in the dark with pangas only. In the state’s own uniform, carrying the firearms they already stole from us, treating our farms like open season.
They don’t fear the police because half the time they are the police long enough to get through the gate. They don’t fear the law because the law looks the other way when the blood is White.
Thirty years of this and the message is still the same; your land is temporary. Your life is negotiable. Your guns will be used against you.
