The “Canada forever” crowd wants Albertans to keep paying 50% taxes to an increasingly authoritarian government that censors speech, abuses emergency powers, and treats our province like a tax colony to fund their corruption.
And they call us traitors for wanting out.
Unreal.
My admiration for Jeff Rath just grew.
I had no idea he had just lost his wife.
All through this, he still came out, did interviews, stood tall for Alberta, never backed down, and voiced himself on our behalf.
That deserves a whole lot of respect. 🫡
My condolences to Jeff and his family.
Why should Alberta stay in Canada?
Tell me why the systemic discrimination against Western Canada is okay?
If Alberta were an independent country, it would…
• have more land mass than 70% of all other nations.
• have more farmland than about 85% of all other nations.
• have a population larger than 45% of all other nations.
• have more resources than 95% of all other nations.
• have a nominal GDP larger than 82% of all other nations.
• have a larger GDP per capita than 90% of all other nations.
• have a lower crime rate than 70% of all other nations.
• have a higher education level than 85% of all other nations.
• be more diverse than 70% of all other nations.
We would be a powerhouse, yet people are content with being serfs in a system of systemic discrimination.
Alberta has 12% of Canada’s population.
Alberta pays 17% of all federal income taxes to Ottawa.
Alberta gets 9% of federal spending.
Why are you okay with our vote being worth less than the rest of Canada’s — much less?
If a Somalian family is living in British social housing, claiming benefits, refusing to work, not even able to speak English?
A Restore Britain Government will deport that family.
No apologies, no compromises, no payments.
Deported.
If you choose "Alberta to remain a province of Canada" on October 19th, you will effectively be giving Mark Carney carte blanch to continue to abuse us.
It's not a vote for unity, it's handing Mark Carney an unrestricted permit to keep screwing Alberta. Equalization raids, energy sabotage, regulatory strangulation, and endless Ottawa virtue-signaling will intensify, at our expense.
With the separatist threat neutralized, he'll know that no one will ever stop him. Alberta becomes a compliant cash cow with zero leverage.
Choose to stay... and watch the abuse accelerate.
Alberta deserves better than becoming Carney's doormat. Vote like your future depends on it.... because it does.
A young Scottish girl who defended her sister from Muslim invader/predators has been vindicated by a British court. She should have a statue erected in her honor rather than have been charged in the first place. She has more heart than the leftist politicians destroying the UK.
Ottawa wants Alberta to keep believing reform is just one election away.
It is not.
The system is built to ignore us.
Independence is the only path that forces negotiation.
From 2007–2022, Alberta had $244.6 billion extracted to fund other provinces.
$15.3 billion per year
$1.28 billion per month
$42 million per day
And for what?
Blocked pipelines. Federal hostility. Carbon taxes. Anti-energy laws.
This is why Alberta needs independence.
Alberta can build pipelines.
Alberta can attract investment.
Alberta can grow.
What makes us “unfinanceable” is Ottawa’s carbon taxes, net-zero agenda, and policies Albertans never voted for.
We are being held back by a system working against us.
Canada’s political establishment does not offer Alberta solutions. It offers new slogans for the same broken deal.
The problem is not one party or one leader. It is confederation itself.
The truth is that the system cannot be fixed.
Alberta Independence is the only way out.
@yegwave We are done paying for Canada. Poilievre’s message. Double oil production so I can give even more of Alberta’s money to provinces who are too dumb to develop their own natural gas fields…
No thanks Pete. Go back to Ottawa where you belong.
