#WhyIWrite I wrote my grandfather a poem when he retired. Many years later I found my Grandfather’s journal from his trip to Europe. He said that, “I am carrying Rocky’s (me) poem in my pocket throughout this trip.” Writing continues to touch my heart across time and distance.

What a joy it was to see Michelle visiting the US from the Philippines! She was in the Writing Project that Angelo and I led at the University of Santo Thomas in Manila. It was a wonderful reunion for all of us!
