Humanity is a complex and diverse species, capable of both great acts of kindness and terrible acts of cruelty, but at our core, we all share the same basic needs and desires.

Millions of girls & women in Afghanistan are banned from acquiring education & have no access to reading books. To respond to this crisis in education & generate knowledge, APT now provides e-books every week for hundreds of young girls & women across Afghanistan.

[TogetherStronger - With Afghan Women @TogetherStron12]

Afghan women and our allies are calling upon the Islamic countries @OIC_OCI for stronger response and united action against the Taliban ban on education for women and girls.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar urge Taliban to reverse ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan https://t.co/Qpov1kFjqP

[UN Special Rapporteur Richard Bennett @SR_Afghanistan]

The suspension of women from university education announced today by TB acting Min of Higher Educ marks a new low further violating the right to equal education & deepens the erasure of women from #Afghan society. I call on the TB to reverse it immediately
