Girls in Afghanistan are being silenced.
No school.
No public life.
No future.
Without a free press, their stories remain hidden.
On #WorldPressFreedomDay, journalism is about amplifying voices denied one.
Today we honor the dedication, resilience, and contributions of workers around the world, especially Afghan workers across the globe who continue to show strength, hard work, and perseverance in every field.
This story highlights the power of psychological support and therapy for women and girls living under daily restrictions that continue to tighten their lives.
We share eBooks with more than 1,000 youth across Afghanistan, providing resources to support learning, ideas, and skills.
By reading, we create opportunities for growth and hope.

Several young Afghan women have secured scholarships in Germany, Turkey, Canada, and France. Their tuition and living costs are covered, but they still need help paying for visas and travel. They are preparing for these next steps and are seeking support.
