@PTIofficial PTI leadership needs to resign. They're not fit to be leaders. The people were ready to die for this country and for Khan, but these leaders showed weakness again, peaceful becomes cowardice at one point.
The people who were martyred would be in vain because of these leaders.
Dear Team X @X - Please note that Pakistani Army touts will try misleading people on X, through community notes on “Islamabad Massacre of 26 Nov 2024” - Why & How? In the late evening of 26 November, Pakistani Army paramilitary, Rangers, shot more than 100 pro democracy protesters in Islamabad’s D-Chowk. However just like the fictional rendition of “1928 Banana Massacres” in Garcia’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude” Pakistan Army took possession of dead bodies and has washed the crime scene. Pakistani papers are merely reporting that protestors dispersed after shelling. Killings by snipers is not being admitted. Whole crime is being written off from the memory. But everyone knows. Enormity of the crime demands an International Commission under UN to investigate and consider sanctions against Pakistan Army & present Govt from the US, UK and EU - however since bodies have been taken away & news portals silenced by force no exact figures will be available to International Media & News Agencies, they may end up reporting a much smaller figure. Army touts will start disputing figures of dead as part of their strategy. I appeal to all International Media & HR organizations to take time to investigate this. This state crime is unprecedented even in a disturbed country like Pakistan! @amnestyusa@amnestysasia@hrw@nytimesworld@guardian@washingtonpost
I am torn between the urge to go and join my mother and the brave people bleeding for our freedom, and the hope to have my mother back home safely. The protest must continue, but I don't want to lose my mother. I cannot sleep.
I cannot sleep. I am not in Islamabad but my mother is, and last I heard she was hiding from those who were firing bullets and shells at her and others around her. I haven't been able to reach her since then but I cannot sleep.
