BEING SHY RUINS YOUR LIFE
You’re losing opportunities. Wasting potential. Low on energy. No drive. Lacking courage. Living in fear. Fix it. Stop caring about other people’s opinions. Get what you want. Be unapologetic. Don’t ask for permission. Get angry about your life. Start fulfilling your mission. Pursue your goals. Focus on your interests. Confidence will become part of who you are.
Shyness doesn’t decrease with age.
It fades with experience.
The more you master yourself, which is one of the hardest things in life - the more confident you become, and your shyness disappears.
It comes from childhood, where you were taught to always be polite, but that’s not how the real world works.
& if you have:
1. little to no expenses
2. parents who support you
3. no one that depends on you yet
then my friend, you should be taking insane amount of risks
I tell my man a lot of things but one thing I won’t do is run my mouth about my friend’s personal business. & I think it’s hella weird to go run & pillow talk to your man about something a friend told you in confidence.
When the dust settles corporate South Africa needs to be shamed for its lack of support for Bafana Bafana. E.g. Checkers gave staff Green tops for the Springboks and you'd see flags all over the shop on Matchdays. Nothing for Bafana Bafana.
Every girl should experience her own apartment, groceries in the fridge, candles lit, everything exactly how she wants it, and no man stressing her out. It really is a luxury experience.
