Edward Cabrera - 4.99 ERA
Jameson Taillon - 5.13 ERA
Colin Rea - 4.59 ERA
Matthew Boyd - 6.00 ERA
Shota Imanaga - 4.74 ERA
In 2026, this rotation will make a combined 63 million. 63 MILLION for arguably the 5 WORST starting pitchers in the ENTIRE league.
@CarlsBeef Jed Hoyer getting extended last season to allow him TWENTY years with the Cubs is hilariously pathetic. This team absolutely sucks
Maybe building teams on defense + no velocity and praying that they can all outperform projections every single year isn’t a good strategy!?
USING LESS, PAYING MORE
Arizona's largest utility, APS, wants to raise household electric rates about 14 percent, roughly $20 more a month, its third hike in four years. Data centers would see a 45 percent jump.
APS says the bigger data-center charge makes the tech giants, not families, pay for the AI power buildout. But critics note those data-center rates are kept secret, so no one can verify the claim.
Meanwhile a consumer analysis found the average APS household used 5.5 percent less power in 2025 than in 2022, yet paid 23 percent more per unit. Arizona's attorney general calls it corporate greed.
It would appear the utility companies are about to start gouging people.
Maybe it's time to create mini reactors to power a neighborhood and cut out utility companies altogether. The technology is almost there.
NOW EVERYONE KNOWS
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

Sean McDonough: "These gentlemen would quiet all the critics wondering where they've been if they score the game-winner in overtime... THEY SCOOOOORE! SETH JARVIS QUIETS THE CRITICS AND IGNITES THE CROWD!" 🏒🚨🎙️ #StanleyCupFinal#NHL
I have not done:
#4
#5
#9
And sadly I don't think I have ever done #17 😂
I don't think I have done #14 either!! I shot -2 with a bogey at LaComa gold course. That was my best low score ever. I have had a -1, 35 at Cole Acres before but i am almost positive that had a bogey
The Packers have $160.75M total between Reed & Watson with their new contracts.
In '25 combined they had
-54 rec
-818 yds
-7 TD
The #Bears have $33.6M between Odunze & Burden
In '25 combined had
-91 rec
-1,313 yds
-8 TD
And both still have 3 years left on rookie deals.
Love it
The New World Screwworm, a grave parasitic threat, has just been detected in US cattle for the first time since it was eradicated in 1966.
The parasite's revival comes after Trump and DOGE slashed funding for Screwworm monitoring programs.
@casualbigten Ben McCollum had one good 8 day stretch
His team finished a 4 month season in 10th place
Putting him ahead of Greg Gard, currently 7th all time in Big Ten winning percentage, is a felony
The lack of morning weather balloons launched across the western and central U.S. is having a real, tangible impact on degrading forecast quality.
We can't look at weather balloon data that doesn't exist. We can't pump nonexistent data into models. We can't rely as heavily on models that don't "know" what's happening above our heads.
Today's severe weather forecast is less certain because we don't have weather balloon data to confirm the strength of jet stream winds aloft.
This is extremely frustrating, and is the result of logistical, organizational, political and budgetary decisions.
They don’t hit homers. They don’t have a killer bullpen. They don’t steal bases. They’re not a collection of exciting but flawed young players. They aren’t led by a dominant rotation. They don’t fight or come back late.

Meet your new intelligence chief: Bill Pulte, the genius who wanted to bring you the 50-year mortgage.
You remember the 50-year mortgage?
Pulte’s plan to keep you paying off your house until you’re dead, with roughly double the interest, that he reportedly pitched to Trump on a giant posterboard at a golf club. It went over so well that his own White House was “furious” and the whole thing was quietly walked back within weeks.
This is the man Trump just put in charge of the CIA, the NSA, and 16 other intelligence agencies.
A guy with zero intelligence experience, currently under investigation by the congressional watchdog for mishandling sensitive information.
What could possibly go wrong?

Science gasps for breath. They are removing all the ocean monitors to understand changes in currents and climate, and the excuse is a master class in obfuscation & double speak . (1/2) https://t.co/vs782YbcI3
