【ベネズエラ 地震 緊急支援】日本の「タキダシ」が被災者の心の拠り所に
ベネズエラの首都カラカスでラーメン屋「NORANEKO」（野良猫）を営むホセ・モンサルべさん。彼が発起人となった「タキダシ」プロジェクトは、現地の他の日本食レストランや商工会、そしてピースウィンズを巻き込み、早々に実現の運びとなりました。
炊き出しのメニューは日本風の「カレー」。食料の支援に頼って暮らしている被災者が、温かい食事を食べられる機会は今ほとんどありません。とにかく温かい料理を提供したい、そして日本らしいおいしい料理の炊き出しで思いやりを届けたい、というホセさんたちの熱い思いを実現するためのメニューとして、カレーが選ばれました。
ベネズエラではカレーは一般的ではなく、決して馴染みのある食べ物ではありません。しかし炊き出しが始まると、これが大ヒット。「地震後に食べたものの中で一番おいしい」と大好評で、「このおいしい料理は何？」「レシピを教えて」と声をかけてくれる人も続出しました。
このカレーの炊き出しは9日までに2回実施し、それぞれで約200食を提供しました。
