Open Claude and give it one clear task: build an MT5 bot for XAUUSD on the 1H chart.

Not “make me rich.”

A real spec.

The bot reads trend with EMA 50 and EMA 200, checks momentum with RSI, filters dead markets with ATR, and ignores gold when it is just chopping sideways.

The logic is simple.

If gold is above both EMAs, momentum is strong, and volatility is clean, the bot looks for buys.

If price breaks below the averages and momentum flips down, it looks for sells.

Then you ask Claude to write it as an MQL5 Expert Advisor with stop loss, take profit, trailing stop, and a daily loss limit.

The most important part is risk.

No more than 1% per trade.

No more than 3–5% drawdown per day.

Full shutdown after a losing streak.

Then you open MetaEditor, paste the code, compile it, and attach the bot to XAUUSD H1.

Demo first.

Let it trade for a week, export the trade history, and feed it back into Claude.

Claude checks where the bot entered too late, where it got trapped in noise, where the take profit was too greedy, and rewrites the rules.

After a few cycles, it is not “AI predicting the market.”

It is just one repeatable setup turned into automation.

Claude writes the code.

MT5 executes the trades.

Gold does the dirty work.
