Andy Burnham is being deliberately misleading.
UK fuel is double taxed.
Every litre includes fuel duty of 52.95p, then VAT is added to final sale price - after fuel duty is applied.
It's immoral and Burnham could stop it. Instead he boasts about Google maps.

Three years ago today Hamas killed about 1,200 people and took hostages. In London, a Hate march still went ahead.

Police asked them to move it off 7 October.

They refused. Some covered their faces after being told not to. Chants for intifada outside a Jewish community office. Five arrests there. The hate march still got its route.

In Gosport, locals protesting a small-boat landing got a town-wide dispersal order, a face-covering ban and 12 arrests.

Same country. Same week. One crowd picks the anniversary of a massacre and gets managed through the streets. The other gets the order, the ban and the van.

Call it what it is. Two-tier policing.
