Ali Hemmati and Majid Nikandish were hanged at dawn today in Mashhad.
#AliHemmati , 21, a married father of two. #MajidNikandish , 25, from Quchan.

Arrested over the January 2026 protests in Mashhad’s Tabarsi area. The regime called them “leaders of the riots,” charged them with moharebeh, and executed them after the Supreme Court upheld the sentences.

The official story is that they took part in clashes that killed four security forces, blocked streets, set fires, and damaged property. Opposition and human-rights sources call them prisoners of the uprising and note how little is known about a fair trial or how the alleged confessions were obtained.

Two more young names added to a long list. The hangings continue. The world issues statements, then looks away.
