A conservative not indifferent to climate change & indigenous rights. Two political groups matter: high vs low information voters. Entrepreneur supports Carney.
China is kicking ass. They studied everything the USSR did, right and wrong, and they studied capitalism. There are 120 car companies in China competing for sales. Why? Because they understand competition breeds innovation. Their cars are better than ours. The government builds infrastructure and saves money by building things before they are needed. It’s not always a home, but overall it works. Have you seen their tier one cities?
@923TheFan@ByJasonLloyd The Dunning-Kruger effect in action. They have far less knowledge than the players and coaches and yet so confident in their opinions.
@OANN Why does it have to be such a low IQ commentary. China is absolutely kicking the West's ass with their social market economy that some wanna call communism.
@tha_buffalo No, I heard him talk about this. Billy O'Brien said when the receiver is wide open it's better to under-throw slightly and be sure than to acidently over-throw.
I suspect the real reason musk wants you to have an issue with "communism." BYD is easily a better electric car manufacturer than Tesla, and it is one of three Chinese companies, alongside NIO and Xpeng, that are probably better than Tesla. Their batteries last much longer and charge more quickly, and the cars are in many ways more advanced. The robotics sector tells the same story. Chinese companies now control roughly ninety percent of the global humanoid robot market, and nearly all humanoid robots sold worldwide in 2025 came from China, with six of the top selling companies in the sector based there. Unitree and Agibot alone each outsold Tesla’s entire 2025 production target of five thousand units, a target Tesla did not meet. Even Musk himself has conceded the point, though he maintains Optimus will eventually surpass its Chinese rivals on real world intelligence and dexterity. The way things are headed, China is simply going to surpass everyone. They will probably double their GDP in the next twenty years, which will make it the largest GDP in the world.
@TheLaurenChen Key Founders such as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Paine rejected core Christian doctrines (the Trinity, divinity of Jesus, biblical miracles, etc.).
Nope

Context: The main reason Canada’s population fell in 2025 was not traditional permanent emigration. It was the large net departure of temporary residents (mostly international students and temporary foreign workers) whose permits expired.
