Jean Carnahan worked hard for Missouri. She was a full partner with her husband, Mel. She was a dedicated advocate in her own right as First Lady, and as a United States Senator.

Blaine Luetkemeyer is a great friend and has been a great and effective member of the Congress representing Missouri. Blaine was one of the people I always turned to when something needed to get done for our state. @RepBlaine

.@SenStabenow is an incredibly effective legislator and a really good friend. We have worked together for more than a decade in the effort to treat mental health like all other health and made great progress because of her determination and dedication.

We passed our first bill in the House together 26 years ago and achieved one of our most important goals by taking the Excellence in Mental Health program nationwide under the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act last year.
