George Chuvalo might be the toughest man I have ever seen.

Not just going toe to toe with Ali or Frazier. Not just that he never went down in 93 fights.

He lost 3 sons and his first wife to drugs and suicide…and still found a way to keep fighting.

Then for years he tried hard to help others avoid the same fate.

Something I will always admire.

May he now find his peace. 🕊️

For Americans criticizing Canada and Mark Carney’s decision to pursue closer trade ties with China rather than reach a deal with the United States, there’s an important piece of context missing.

Canada did not start this trade war. Donald Trump did. Canada’s pivot toward China is a direct consequence of the unfair treatment it has received from the Trump administration.

As a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen who knows both countries well, I believe our nations should work together. The United States and Canada are more than neighbors—they’re family.

But Mark Carney is right to stand up to the bullying and cheap shots that have come to define Trump’s foreign policy.

Don’t blame Canada for this deal falling apart. The responsibility lies with Trump, whose approach continues to damage America’s most important relationships across the globe.

100% Hockey

The NHL starts in about 50 days…It will mark the first season since 1952, that the TV schedule will not include the name “Hockey Night In Canada”.
Over the next few weeks we will pay tribute to Hockey Night, and what it meant to work on the show and what defined its success. Some of the show’s biggest names take the time to talk to Daren and me on their time on #HNIC.

We hope you enjoy the shows as much as we did creating them. It all starts on Tuesday with the great Dick Irvin.

@BlueJaysDad MLB and the PA obviously haven't learned anything from 1994 strike when the Expos should have won it all so I don't see a season. I hope I am wrong but nobody wants to leave ego out of it. There is a common ground but I think both sides don't want to find it.
