I agree. If anything, this makes painfully clear once again how Europe has missed the boat.

We talk about digital sovereignty, but in moments like this it becomes obvious that we are still heavily dependent on others, even when it comes to access to the most important technology of our time.

Open source is not just an alternative. It is a necessity.
