I used to think Zephyr was just another RTOS.
But if an RTOS is "just" the kernel (scheduler, timing, synchronization)…
that’s ~0.5% of Zephyr.

@zenerdyod @ZephyrIoT I totally agree with you, it is not a full replacement. Linux is still the (only) choice in complex apps. But there is a significant space for Zephyr and is already starting to take market share from both FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux.
Zephyr on MPUs delivers blister-fast boot times. In a side-by-side comparison on the i.MX93, Linux takes roughly 18 s to boot, whereas @ZephyrIoT is up and running in about 4 s (including ~3 s for the bootloader).
It has the momentum to become the new standard OS on MPUs.
