This moment was actually never planned to be in the game. My original vision was a game with lots of traps, but NO enemies... (1/10)
What does it mean to be designed for dungeon crawling? In HIS MAJESTY THE WORM, there's no darkvision. There's no create food and water spells or light cantrips. Moreover, there's no perception or disarm trap skills. Player ingenuity is centered from early game to late game.
@Alaingruetter I imagine the 3d artists had to figure a whole buncha shit out from these sketches (kirkbride, how tf does this work?...)
The art is so good though! Haven't seen anything close to it ever and the following games never managed to replicate it as well (see ordinator armor in eso)
