@Hero_OfThe_Day@Jake_BelmontTV@CaitlinClark22@WNBA Race might have played a small part, but I think it was more the over-the-top popularity from day 1 triggered a lot of jealousy from many current and ex-players. I think in their minds she hadn’t earned it. They couldn’t put the league’s interests above their personal feelings.
@Philip73STL@FiredUpCoug They would only destroy the choices if they were diversity-based rather than casting people similar to the original actors. I think if they honestly tried to recapture the spirit of the original trilogy there would be a lot of allowances made by the fan base.
@UziCryptoo What’s a better system? The road outside your place needs to be maintained. How is that money going to be raised? Your trash needs collecting. How are they going to pay for that?
These days you can’t rely on community fundraisers. Only the civilly minded will contribute.
@Bbbfromb@ellymelly Where did she say she was upset? It was just a valid callout of a decision that shows the government is making it up as they go along and contradicting their statements of just a few days earlier. Who is this mob you are referencing?
Yes, a good scene but such a contrived situation. In the 4 years he was marooned, his fiancee actively monitors the search, eventually accepts he is gone, then meets Jerry, is willing to marry him too quickly (given her trauma), immediately gets pregnant and then the child is already 1 by the time Chuck is found.
The most annoying aspect is they wanted to create this situation where Kelly would have to choose to remain with Jerry because of the child, even though Kelly/Chuck both think of each other as the love of their life. Without the kid, there wasn't really much to stop her changing her mind and going with the OG love.
@bestofstarwar Obviously this far away galaxy doesn't have any Health and Safety regulations in their building standards. Massive drops from walkways with no railings 😂
@warriors@NBCSAuthentic So, are we going to follow the pattern of: pretty good first quarter. Average second quarter. Disappointing third quarter and going-through-the-motions fourth?
