Husband and dad to two boys. Overgrown (and yes, apparently they do stack it that high) Credit Manager & Richmond fanatic - happy to say it's no longer tragic!
A very special and emotional night as dad was elevated to Immortal status in the Richmond Football Club Hall of Fame Saturday night. Lisa and I were fortunate enough to have accompanied dad when he was first inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2002, so brought back a lot of memories.
A big thank you to the Richmond FC for this incredible honour, one which I know dad would have been both thrilled and embarrassed by.
Congratulations also to the great Bill Wilson (who roved to dad) on his well deserved induction into the Hall of Fame.
@jeff_kennett 100% correct - an absolute disgrace! $130m in Australian aid to Gaza and $34.5b for a train line from somewhere near Cheltenham to Box Hill and that's the best we can come up with. Outdated trucks and equipment for volunteers thanks to budget cuts.
An expensive childhood vaccine has become an election issue after the death of a Victorian teenage boy. A Meningococcal B jab might have saved his life, and today, one side of politics pledged a change that could save others. @BlakeJohnson
Iโm a small rural landholder in East Gippsland, VIC.
A large pine plantation project has begun right on my boundary.
Iโm not anti-plantation and I understand the need for timber but I now have no safe way to stay here, and no financial way to leave.

@Richmond_TT how does Garcia get rising star ahead of Trainor?
Garcia = 19 disposals at only 42% efficiency, 3 score involves & 309m gained. Yes 10 tackles, but 42% is only 8 effective disposals. Trainor = 21 disposals at 91% efficiency, 5 score involves & 438m gained. Please!
@MarkAllenGolf Yep, we've already got the worst credit rating of all Australian States and staring down the barrel of another downgrade under Labor's watch ๐
Fantastic to see Lachy back loving his footy after what he's been through and really tested himself on Saturday with full games in both 19's and Reserves. Well done mate on two cracking games.
Watching the AFL Hall of Fame and spotted the legendary Graham Cornes. Brought back some great memories of the old man and an article that Graham wrote years ago. Typical of Dad.

@smwright1965@Richmond_FC Was completely outclassed in the midfield - as you said, he's used to a front running team - no defensive side when it's going the other way and it cost us repeatedly yesterday.
So happy to have Dad's Omega Seamaster watch back up and running. A massive thank you to Gray Reid Gallery - The Art of Jewellery in Collins St for assisting with organising this.
