Bit of a rant/look at the #HTAFC season ticket renewal picture, if anyone is interested or agrees.
Fans are sat with no idea about what the product will be next season, and after a few years of discontent and falling faith, there is no trust between supporters and the product.
The past two seasons have proved that there is money to be spent, and for whatever reason, the club have regressed significantly.
Trends this year have only shown that regression to be much worse than it initially seemed - 6 wins from the turn of the year from 23.
So, heading into the summer, there are 12 players out of contract, no head coach in place (or credible rumours about who it may be) and no DOF.
Put simply, for the price sought, there is no idea of what the product will be like, and there is no luck of blind trust after recent years.
Would you buy the idea of a car, for example, with no idea of what it will look like? The aims of the manufacturing, etc etc.
Put simply, of course not.
Next season has the potential to be brilliant, but everyone needs to buy into the idea. Unfortunately, no one knows what the idea looks like.
The picture will probably not become more clearer before the renewal period ends, and if that is the case, it feels like the club are MASSIVELY shooting themselves in the foot.
There must be one more push made this week by Town, however that may be, but failing to do so leaves the club quite vulnerable, I think.
A sad state of affairs.
We will be attending the next ATT meeting to represent Disabled Supporters of @htafc. These are the points our members have requested be put forward for discussion. We have sent these to the club to ask they are added to the agenda. #HTAFC
