alright i’m going to make a more permanent tweet to pin because it appears my financial issues are Not going away any time soon even once i’m paid bc everything is so expensive i keep getting fucked over every month. so here we are.
@EonTheMando OOOOUOOUUUUHHH i see the visionnn i’ve not played dragon age (i know i know, i should, its top of my list when i can afford to get gamepass back) but i see where you’re going w this
i dont know shit about how the gaming industry works is it plausible that another studio/developer/whatever could buy the mass effect IP??? i’m desperately clutching at straws here but i’m just wondering like. is that even fucking possible
@lovekirkwall honestly its been comforting for me in how sad i am about this to see the ME fandom (i’ve never played dragon age but them too ofc, big love) coming together to mourn and share fanart and how much we love bioware. ME fandom hasn’t felt this much like a community in a long time
@catvalente thank you, and i’m so sorry that this cancellation means your work won’t be seen. i’m sure it was phenomenal. we appreciate all of you so, so much
hey EA. you can kill bioware. you can cancel mass effect 5. but you will never ever take garrus vakarian from me. you can pry him from my cold dead hands.
BREAKING: The Mass Effect video game franchise may have come to an end with the shocking demise of BioWare, but IGN can exclusively reveal that its future on the small screen remains possible. Sources inside Prime Video have confirmed that the Mass Effect television series remains in development at Amazon MGM Studios. https://t.co/uNN7dQ3UBP
