It's a delicious thing to write, to be no longer yourself but to move in an entire universe of your own creating.

Art Leonardo Di Aetherhart
"Reading was like an addiction; I read while I ate, on the train, in bed until late at night, in school, where I'd keep the book hidden so I could read during class. Before long I bought a small stereo and spent all my time in my room, listening to jazz records. But I had almost no desire to talk to anyone about the experience I gained through books and music. I felt happy just being me and no one else. In that sense I could be called a stack-up loner."
Haruki Murakami
“Read, read, read. Read everything― trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read!
Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.”
―William Faulkner
I fell in love with story telling by imaginative writers who took me on journeys I would never forget. I never wanted to leave their worlds. I wanted to stay stuck forever in between the binders and pages of their books . ✍️🌹
@ornithopteryx Exactly. It’s the writer’s choice to use a prologue or not. If a book needs a preface, add that, too. It all sets the tone of the story. Your story. 🌹
