@Thermador I learned late this afternoon that, even though @Thermador said the unit was in Kansas, in fact it's still in transit - won't arrive at the shipping terminal until tomorrow. Which means that my 2nd install (really the 3rd) has been pushed to next Tuesday. Accuracy counts.

Just wanted to share my experience with Thermador and why I wouldn't recommend at this point. Brand new downdraft failed after 4 months (in June) and we are still waiting for the warranty repair to be completed. @Thermador, your customer support is a fail at this point.

@Thermador Your representative told me yesterday that the unit was here in Kansas. It still hasn't shown up at Ferguson appliances for the installer to deliver. This reflects poorly on @Thermador and @BoschHomeUS. If this is the service one should expect, it's not worth the purchase.

Update: @Thermador provided a number for me to call. I was told by the nice woman that took my call that this number was only for Bosch appliances and that I would need to call the regular Thermador line If you have a Thermador appliance, I hope you never have problems with it.
