@maisonnatmax Exactly, I mean we could have build a customizar drop down from the begining that would be my second option, the first would be choosing a ui library that has everything we need from day 0
A whole UI library. We used one component from it: the dropdown.
PrimeNG goes paid in v22, so last week I rebuilt it with Angular and Bootstrap, the stack we already had.
Lowercase table names are my preference.
Last week I still recommended keeping a database in uppercase, because other applications depend on those names.
Personal style loses to compatibility.
A Laravel app full of raw SQL doesn't mean a bad developer.
The one I work on was rewritten into Laravel from another system, probably on a short deadline.
Copying the queries over is faster than refactoring them.
I have room for freelance projects again, evenings and weekends.

@komal_uk01 depends on my surrounding
if there are noise arround me (specially loud conversation), then music
if there's silence arround me then silence
Last week a database migration renamed every table and column to lowercase, and the backend broke.
I switched one method to lowercase names. It worked, and that confirmed the cause.
Before you change everything, change one thing and test it.
What's one small habit that made you a better developer?
Not a tool. Not a course. A habit.
Mine: code review with other people. I love talking through my work with them.
hi @taylorotwell i have a question about Laravel cloud + scale to zero + octane
When an instance is set up to scale to zero, having octane active will wake up the instances from time to time, so octane stays in memory?
or can i have both enabled at the same time?
