🇲🇪 Montenegro remains one of Europe’s most beautifully underrated vacation spots, a true "if you know, you know" destination for savvy travellers.
Free from the overwhelming crowds of other Mediterranean hubs, it offers a perfectly paced coastal lifestyle.
The ultimate way to experience the region is by following the water.
You can start your morning with a peaceful waterfront breakfast in the charming town of Dobrota, take a midday boat cruise to soak in the dramatic mountain vistas of the Bay of Kotor, and finish your evening at the Kraken Underwater Wine Cellar. This extraordinary floating bar serves premium wines aged right on the seabed alongside fresh local mussels, offering an unforgettable conclusion to a perfect day.

Back to Hong Kong tonight.
These trips are starting to feel a little different now. I’ll soon be stepping away from flying for a while, so I’m quietly savouring these last few eastbound crossings, especially this one, because my son Ethan’s out there travelling the Far East and I get to catch up with him for a short while.
This route has become my favourite and I’ll miss it.
Long before flight plans and great circle tracks, the Silk Road connected Europe and Asia across deserts and mountains, carrying trade, ideas and stories between worlds. Today we do it overnight in an A350, although modern politics now bends the route around conflict and closed airspace in ways the old traders could never have imagined.
Different era. Same human instinct to connect.
And at the far end sits Hong Kong, one of my favourite cities anywhere.
Not a bad excuse for one more trip east… I may be able to squeeze in one other… let’s see.
Hong Kong by morning 🇭🇰✈️
HUGE 🔥— Gov. Ron DeSantis advocates for the nationwide abolition of property taxes.
"You buy a home, you buy land... and then, you've been taxed many times.. is it your property, or NOT? Just for being on your property, you've got to write a check to the government every year?"
The City of Cleveland has officially rejected the permit application for the proposed hyperscale data center campus planned for Slavic Village. The $1.6 billion project would have brought multiple large data center buildings to a 35-acre site near Interstate 77 and East 55th Street.
The proposal generated major discussion across the city after details revealed the facility could require roughly 150 megawatts of power, an amount compared to the energy usage of around 100,000 homes.
Residents, city leaders, and community groups raised concerns about infrastructure, utilities, environmental impact, and how a project of that scale could affect the neighborhood.
The project had quickly become one of the most talked-about development proposals in Cleveland over the past week before the city announced the denial Thursday.

Whoever Spencer Pratt has putting together his commercials, every Republican running for office in the midterms needs to hire them today!

💖An Adoption story: 💖
"Last Tuesday, we got a call about a one-day-old baby girl in the NICU.
We had 30 minutes to say yes, and we did.
We went to bed thinking they'd probably choose someone else.
The next morning, we woke up to a phone call:
They chose us. An hour later, we were packed and on our way to the airport. After a 10-hour travel day, we made it. We were about to meet our daughter.
Meet Haven Nevaeh Lawson.
We named her Haven because that's our prayer, that her life would be filled with safety, peace, and protection. That she'd always know she can find security not just in our arms, but in the arms of God.
That’s the name her birth mama gave her. We kept it to honor her bravery and the beautiful decision she made to choose life. Nevaeh is "heaven" spelled backward.
So her full name carries this hope:
Safe in God's presence, forever.
We've spent the last 9 days by her side in the NICU. It's been hard, physically and emotionally, but even in the middle of the unknown, we've seen God's hand, His timing, and His kindness. 🙏
Would you pray for our baby girl Haven?
Pray that she'll be healthy enough to come home soon, home to the family & friends that are so ready to surround her with love.
Adoption is joy and heartbreak tangled together. But in the middle of it all, we're overwhelmed with gratitude. She is worth every moment." 🫶💕
The max one can pay into social security per year is $10,453.20.
If you did that every year from age 18 until retirement, the max you’ll get from SS is $4,873 /month.
If you put it into an S&P index fund instead, you would receive $32,583 per month.
Social Security is a scam.
