There are people inside @Wizards_DnD who fought hard for this. They needed and got our support during the fight. Knowing they were not alone had to have helped sustain them. We may never know who they are or what they did, but the end result speaks for itself.

A morality clause in OGL 1.0a would not have stopped a Nu-TSR from happening. That is a trademark issue and what they did is illegal. If they were willing to use an an already-owned trademark a morality clause in an OGL is not going to stop them. #WotC #OpenDnD #OpenRPG

The morality clause in the proposed 1.2 draft is Wizards rationale for revoking 1.0a but in the last 23 years nobody has blamed Wizards for any third party products that used the OGL, including the Book of Erotic Fantasy. It’s not necessary for an open license. #OGL #WOTC
